Our General Physical Preparation / CrossFit classes are unlike any other in this area. All GPP / CrossFit classes include a carefully programmed warm-up, mobility, skill / strength, metcon, and cooldown section designed for injury prevention & optimal movement pattern. Even better, every class has an educational element to further your knowledge as an athlete. Our coaches ensure the class is scalable to every athlete’s abilities.

Each CrossFit (GPP) class consists of the following;

  • An introduction where you’ll hear the day’s announcements and get to know your coach and fellow athletes.
  • A warm-up to prime your muscles and joints plus your neuro system for movement.
  • A daily mobility to prep your body for the day.
  • A skill / strength section, to increase your strength and practice optimal mechanics.
  • A metcon to test your ability to 'move large loads long distances quickly'.
  • A cooldown section to help with recovery time and improve flexibility.

1. You have to be a current member at a CrossFit Affiliate (or equivalent)
2. Understand the 9 CF Foundational Movements (basic proficiency)

+ Air Squat + Front Squat + OHS
+ Press + Push Press + Push Jerk
+ Deadlift + SDHP + MB Clean

3. Understand the Olympic Lifts (basic proficiency)

+ Snatch + Clean + Jerk
