World-Class Fitness in 100 Words.

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

General Physical Preparedness

Our General Physical Preparedness (GPP) program is the meat and potatoes of CrossFit Chuckanut. And, yes this curriculum is for everybody. We pride ourselves on being a fully scalable program. From professional athletes to sedentary men and women just looking to lose weight, our program can have a life changing impact. We believe if you have a body, you’re an athlete and you ought to train like one. All you’ve got to do is show up.

  • It works - eat clean, proper food, cut out grains and sugar, drink plenty water and stick with Crossfit. It's that simple. I've been going for around 6 months now, lost just shy of 30lbs, and I've still got a long way to go, especially in strength, though my conditioning and endurance are much better, and I feel great. However... my clothes are hanging off of me, and it is getting expensive replacing them all, but it's worth it.
